Meet Kurt, Owner and Master Auto Technician

Kurt started working in the auto repair business 30 years ago, part time while going to college. Kurt chose to become an automotive professional and began his full time career in 1980.  He gained experience as a technician and then a Service Manager as his career progressed.  He opened Kurt's Auto Werks in 1992, as a one man shop, and it has been growing ever since. In 1995 he bought the property at 10815 FM 620, and built a 3000 sq.ft. shop that opened in 1997. In 1999 he added 1500 sq.ft. (4 more service bays) to expand Kurt's Auto Werks to its present size. Kurt is an ASE Certified Master Technician with an L1 Advanced Engine Performance Certificate. In his free time Kurt is an accomplished competition sailor, a licensed airplane and glider pilot, and a PADI Dive Master.
